Kevin Spacey under investigation for three new sexual assault claims

The Metropolitan Police are looking into more allegations against the actor

Kevin Spacey is under investigation for three new sexual assault claims, it has been reported.

The actor was accused last year of making sexual advances towards Star Trek actor Anthony Rapp when he was 14, with multiple more people coming forward with similar claims afterwards. In two separate statements, Spacey said first that he did not recall the incident with Rapp, and later that he was “taking the time necessary to seek evaluation and treatment.”

TMZ reports the Metropolitan Police, including officers from the Child Abuse and Sexual Offences Command, are looking into three more allegations against the actor over incidents that allegedly took place over 17 years.

Two men reportedly contacted police in February. One claimed he was assaulted by Spacey in 2008, while the other said he was assaulted by the star in 2013. A third man came forward in April according to the New York Daily News, and alleged Spacey assaulted him in 1996.

The 58-year-old is already being investigated for three previously reported sexual assault claims in London, which are said to have taken place between 2005 and 2008. He is also being probed over allegations of three more assaults in the US. He has not commented on the new allegations at present.

Meanwhile, the actor will make his first on-screen appearance since the allegations were made public later this month. Billionaire Boys Club was filmed two years ago and also stars Ansel Elgort, Taron Egerton, Suki Waterhouse, Emma Roberts and more.

After claims were made against Spacey last year, he was removed from All The Money In The World and replaced by Christopher Plummer.
