Samuels claims that Minaj “cut” him

Nicki Minaj has been accused of assault by her ex-boyfriend, rapper and ‘Love & Hip-Hop’ star Safaree Samuels.

The pair were together for 12 years, before breaking up in 2014. A Twitter exchange between the two ensued today (August 14), in which Samuels claims that Minaj “cut” him.

“Remember the night you cut me and i almost died the police and ambulance had to take me out the crib on a stretcher and I had to lie and tell them I was trying to kill myself so they wouldn’t take you to jail,” Samuels wrote. “When things like that start happening more Than once it’s time to dip.”

Minaj was quick to respond, “U stole my card & told me you thought it was an account with “free money” that I didn’t know about,” she wrote. “On God. God will strike you down & more for lying. Ha! Stop saying u packed & left ! On Jesus u came to my house CRYING BEGGING to go w|me to Europe to the EMA’s. I said NO DUMMY.”

She followed that up with more tweets, writing: “Sherika & I had a bet that soon as you knew meek was bout to come home your crawl back & ya did! 🤣 came to my house CRYING. JOYCE WAS THERE! My whole glam was there! Left who?!?! You gettin aired out on #QueenRadio too on Thursday! Apologize & STFU.”

After retweeting support from her fans, Minaj wrote that she wanted to switch the focus back to something positive. “If you rock wit me & this album, let’s switch our focus back to the positive stuff ONLY. I’m so proud of #Queen. People would kill to release such a critically acclaimed body of work,” she wrote. “I’m in a great mood & you should be in one too!!! To GOD be the GLORY!”

Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj shared the video for ‘Ganja Burn’, the opening track from her new album ‘Queen’ yesterday (August 13).

Directors Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, who also made the album artwork, create epic scenes of desert fires and men bowing down to a Queen Minaj.

‘Queen’ was released a week early on Friday (August 10) after numerous scrapped release dates.
