Interpol debut new song ‘If You Really Love Nothing’ live

Get another taster of ‘Marauder’

This week saw Interpol kick off the main headline leg of the world tour for new album ‘Marauder‘ – where they debuted yet more new material. Check out the first outing of ‘If You Really Love Nothing’ below.

Following on from a summer of acclaimed festival shows, including London’s British Summer Time supporting The Cure, the band began their 2018 headline tour at Teatro de la Ciudad in Mexico City.

During their career-spanning set, the NYC trio performed their huge comeback sing ‘The Rover’, the raw follow-up ‘Number 10′, and previously aired ‘Now You See Me At Work‘, as well as debuting ‘Marauder’s opening track ‘If You Really Love Nothing’.

With Banks opting for his lesser-used falsetto voice, the track is a steady and spacious dose of arena-ready post-rock, in a similar vein to material from their second album ‘Antics’.

Interpol’s setlist was:

Public Pervert
All the Rage Back Home
If You Really Love Nothing
C’mere
Leif Erikson
The Rover
Roland
The Scale
Success
Number 10
Lights
Anywhere
NYSMAW
Slow Hands
Encore:
Pioneer to the Falls
Mammoth
Obstacle 1
